Mainajang is the name in Temal’s current Ward 9 directory. This ward and Ward 8 were formed from the former Mechchhe village area. Saramthali is a separate current ward, Ward 3.
Mainajang, Palughattar and Chopatar
The ward programme names Palughattar, Jagira Gaun, Todke and Thal Gaun. It also identifies Chopatar Gumba and a Guru Rinpoche building project at Chopatar. The wider programme names Kali Devi and Seti Devi temples at Gairigaun, plus Dunggetar Gumba and a sattal at Sabundo.
