Chapakhori is the current Ward 7 office-area name. The ward comes from the former Kuruwas Chapakhori village, which the municipal introduction associates with Santaneshwor Mahadev Temple.
Kuruwas, Chapakhori and Kalthar
The ward programme names Kuruwas Chautara, Kharel Tol, School Tol and Dhulkhu. It also identifies Buddha and Saraswati temple references at Chapakhori and Tashi Dargyeling Gumba at Kalthar. These places give more specific destinations within the wider former-village name.
For the Mechchhe area, choose Hlongsal Bhanjyang in Ward 8 or Mainajang in Ward 9. Kuruwas Chapakhori should not be used as the current Ward 8 label. Thulo Parsel in Ward 6 covers a separate former village and its own bhanjyang heritage reference.
