Ward 4 of Mahabharat Rural Municipality is known as Budhakhani, formed from the former Budhakhani VDC during the 2017 local restructuring.[2][6] This area features the ward office located in Budhakhani, serving as a key administrative point in the rural municipality’s southern hilly terrain of Kavrepalanchok District.[6] It is part of the expansive 186 sq km municipality with a population around 18,000, characterized by remote villages and challenging access.[2][4]
