Kathu Ganeshsthan is the address of Banepa’s Ward 5 office. The ward combines part of the older Banepa town with former Ravi Opi areas, according to the municipal introduction.
Dagal Ganesh and the chariot platform
The Ward 5 programme names a route and bridge towards Dagal Ganesh Temple, stairs at Gangadevi Temple and a connection from Bhimsensthan towards Khatri Gaun. It also identifies the Chandeshwori Rath Dabali, the platform associated with the chariot, for improvement work.
Basnet Gaun, Mahat Tol and Simal Danda appear in other local projects. These references distinguish particular parts of the ward; the chariot-platform entry does not by itself locate the whole Chandeshwori temple complex within this boundary.
