Bholakha Tol, written भोलाखाटोल in the ward directory, is Banepa’s Ward 8 office area. Bholakha features in the municipality’s account of the old town, with courtyards, ponds, resting shelters and devotional music woven into its history.
Tindhara and the bhajan tradition
The Ward 8 programme names Tindhara’s daboo, or public performance platform, and support for Bholakha Ganesh bhajan. Gumba Chowk, Gyanmala Bhajan Ghar and Bodhicharya Vihar also appear in its cultural and building projects.
The current ward combines former Banepa Wards 5–7. Use the tole or institution name as well as the present ward number when following older addresses.
