Roshi is a twelve-ward rural municipality in Kavrepalanchok District, named after the Roshi River. Its current ward structure brings together ten former village development committees. The main rural municipality office is at Amaltar in Katunje Besi, Ward 7.
Khahare Pangu, Shikhar Ambote and Mahadevtar
Start with Khahare Pangu, Ward 1. Shikhar Ambote is divided between Ward 2, which includes the Kafaldanda and Tindhare Waterfall references, and Ward 3, with Sanghkot and Ambote references. Mahadevtar, Ward 4, covers the Sanopota and Mandgaun local references.
Sisakhani to Mangaltar
Sisakhani is Ward 5, Sipali Chilaune is Ward 6, and Katunje Besi is Ward 7. Continue to Kharpachok, Ward 8, for Machhegaun and Narke Bazaar, or Mangaltar, Ward 9, for Rajbas and Deurali.
Walting and Bhimkhori
Walting forms Ward 10. The former Bhimkhori area is divided between Ward 11, including Dalabesi, and Ward 12, with Kerabari and Bhotesalu references. Use the current ward number alongside the village name when identifying an address.
Waterfall and hill destinations
The rural municipality’s 2082/83 programme identifies Tindhare Waterfall, Tarakhase Lek and Bhumichuli among its tourism destinations. It describes further infrastructure work as a development objective.
