*Gimdi Besi**

Ward No. 5 of Roshi Rural Municipality (formerly part of Sipali Chilaune Katunje Besi VDC) is primarily known as Gimdi Besi, a settlement along the Roshi Khola river in the hilly eastern rim of Kathmandu Valley.[1][2][3] Other settlements or toles within the ward include areas extending up to Rakta, as referenced in local revenue collection tenders spanning from Ward 9’s Titritar through Gimdi Besi.[3] This ward is characterized by its proximity to the BP Highway (Araniko Highway corridor), making it prone to disruptions from floods and landslides, and it features typical rural topography with streams used for domestic water in a Tamang-majority area.[1][5]
