Ward 10 of Roshi Rural Municipality is known as Walting, a settlement prone to landslides and floods, as evidenced by a major incident that displaced families like that of Kanchha Lama.[7] The area hosts several educational institutions, including Saraswati Basic School, Buddhi Binod Basic School, Jageshwor Basic School, and Pancha Kanya Secondary School.[3] It forms part of the former Walting VDC merged into the municipality, situated on the northern face of the Mahabharata range with agricultural communities.[2][4]
