Ward 6 of Panauti Municipality is known as Sunthan Sarada, located in the eastern part of the area historically associated with the former Panauti Municipality.[1][5] It forms part of the municipality formed by merging settlements including Sunthan, contributing to Panauti’s medieval architectural heritage nominated for UNESCO status.[1][3] The ward has a relatively small population compared to others in the municipality.[4]
