Thaiba is Godawari Ward 14. The municipal profile lists Thaiba, Bade Gaun and Hade Gaun as its trading centres, and Tangatoka as the ward centre.
Bade Gaun and the temple references
The ward programme names Buddha and Ganesh temple works at Bade Gaun, a Narayan temple at Lusijhol and Saraswati’s pati in Pasan Bho Tol. It also identifies the approach to Swet Barahi and the precinct of Thaiba’s Phulchoki Temple.
The local Phulchoki temple reference should not be used as the name of the entire ward or automatically equated with the mountain summit. For Godawari, Kitini and the botanical garden, use Ward 3. For Santaneshwor and Jharuwarasi, continue to Ward 13.
