Thecho is Godawari Ward 12 and one of the municipality’s trading centres. Saraswatikhel is the ward-centre name in its administrative table.
Thecho’s festivals and neighbourhoods
The municipal heritage inventory records Thecho’s Navadurga Bhawani mela on a twelve-year cycle. The ward programme also names Thecho Mahotsav, Buddha Jayanti activity and Ganesh Bhawani’s ceremonial khat. These records describe traditions and programme allocations, not a confirmed calendar for a forthcoming visit.
Saraswati Tol, Tarangkhel and Pamagal appear in local route entries. Vaikuntha Dham and Pacho Falcha, a traditional resting shelter, have separate heritage works listed in the programme.
For Bulu and Chapagaun, use Ward 11. For Santaneshwor, Simthok and Pokharitar, choose Jharuwarasi in Ward 13.
