*Devitar**
Ward No. 1 of Dhulikhel Municipality is primarily known as Devitar, the main area name derived from the former Devitar Village Development Committee (VDC), whose wards 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, and 9 were merged to form it.[1][2][4] Other settlements or toles within the ward include Devisthan (home to Devisthan Adharbhut Vidyalaya) and areas associated with Kali Devi Basic School.[5] This rural ward, located in the southern part of Dhulikhel Municipality east of Kathmandu Valley, features the oldest irrigation system Kendra Kulo and is characterized by agriculture with limited market access and some irrigation services; it has a population of around 2,240 and supports schools like Devisthan and Kali Devi.[4][6]
