*Sakolan**

Ward No. 9 of Bhaktapur Municipality, primarily known as Sakolan, is a densely populated area (8,905 residents across 1,479 households as of 2078 BS census) formed by merging former Wards 1 and 3, covering 0.506 sq km.[1][2] It features numerous socio-cultural sites like Khwopa Hospital, Bramhayani, and Chest Rehabilitation Center, alongside major tourist destinations including Dattatraya Temple, Bhimsen Temple, Chofal Narayan Temple, and Salaa Ganesh Temple.[1] Other notable landmarks and toles include Bechi Bung, Nityanath Temple, Wanchu Hithi, Lamagal pond, Garud Kunda, and various patis like Bramhrayani Pati and Vakupati Narayan Sattal, reflecting its rich Newari heritage with temples, ponds, and community squares.[1]
