*Jenla Tole**
Ward No. 8 of Bhaktapur Municipality is primarily known as Jenla Tole (also spelled Jela Tole), a traditional tole in the densely populated urban core of Bhaktapur, with a population density reaching up to 9,991 persons per square kilometer.[1][5] It was formerly designated as Ward No. 2 before the 2017 local level restructuring.[1] The ward borders Ward No. 9 of Bhaktapur Municipality to the north and Ward No. 8 (Sipadol and Nankhel) of Suryabinayak Municipality to the south, featuring temples and historic Newar architecture typical of Bhaktapur’s heritage sites.[1][3]
