*Kamalbinayak**

Ward No. 10 of Bhaktapur Municipality, formerly Ward No. 4, is primarily known as the Kamalbinayak area, named after its prominent Kamalbinayak temple and sattal (resting pavilion).[1][2] Other localities or toles within the ward include Bekhal, alongside 19 main localities featuring cultural sites like 12 temples, 54 patis (rest houses), 24 chaityas (Buddhist stupas), and 8 ponds (3 encroached).[1][3]

This ward spans 1.6363 sq km with a population of 13,579 (2078 BS census), known for its rich socio-cultural heritage including Dya:chhen shrines, dhungedharas (stone spouts), and baja groups (musical ensembles).[1] Notable landmarks are Mahalakshmi Sattal, Kamalbinayak Sattal, Saraswati Pati, Nag Pond, Kamalvinayak Pond, Lancha Falcha garden, and Kwathandau dug well, making it a hub of Newari heritage and tourism just outside central Bhaktapur.[1][2]
