Chukha is the name in Temal’s current Ward 2 directory. Together with Ward 1, it comes from the former Sarsyukharka village area.
Chukhabesi and the smaller toles
Chukhabesi, Lapse Tallo Tol, Simal Gairi Puchar Tol, Holko Tol and Dahu Tol appear in the ward programme. The same programme names a Seti Devi temple project at Tilkhoriya; a separate municipal entry identifies Kali Devi Temple at Sano Ghar.
These names help distinguish local destinations within Chukha. The programme also records Bonbo/Jhankri community activity, without providing a public performance schedule. For the other Sarsyukharka ward, see Ward 1. For Cheptedhunga, Kuduwal and Chaithali, continue to Saramthali in Ward 3.
