Indrayani is the area associated with Shankharapur Ward 9. The municipality’s heritage inventory names the Indrayani–Brahmayani temple, along with Ram, Kalika Bhagwati, Setidevi, Bindabasini and Panchakanya temples.
Temples and local addresses
The same inventory records a suspension-bridge reference beside the Manohara. Municipal road entries give further local names including Khulaltar, Majhgaun, Kusumtar and Sanagaun. They are useful for narrowing down an address within Ward 9, without assuming that any one name covers the whole ward.
