Jatigaal and Sanothimi are useful names for finding Madhyapur Thimi Ward 2. The municipal directory labels the ward Jatigaal, while its school list repeatedly uses Sanothimi addresses. The current ward corresponds to former municipal Ward 17.
This ward belongs to Madhyapur Thimi Municipality in Bhaktapur District.
Sanothimi’s school-area references
The official Ward 2 directory places Adarsha Secondary School and Bal Sudhar Secondary School in Sanothimi. Matri Bhumi School and Nalanda Vidya Mandir also carry Sanothimi addresses in that list. These records connect the familiar Sanothimi name to Ward 2 without treating every school address as a separate neighbourhood boundary.
