Khumaltar is a key neighbourhood reference for Lalitpur Ward 15. The municipal programme names Khumal Marg Tole, Sundar Nagar and the Janani Marg–Manju Tole area.
Siddhivinayak Ganesh Temple is another local place recorded in the ward’s programme. Using a tole, street or temple name alongside Khumaltar helps identify a more specific destination within this part of Lalitpur.
Khumaltar also appears as a tole name in Ward 23, which has Dhapakhel and Hattiban references. The neighbourhood name alone does not establish a property’s ward. For Tikhidewal and Nakhipot, compare Ward 14.
