Chhetrapati is the address of Kathmandu’s Ward 17 office. Dhobichaur and the Indrayani temple precinct are among the ward’s named places in the municipal heritage programme.
Temples and Buddhist courtyards
The programme identifies Yogeshwor Mahadev at Dhobichaur, resting shelters at Indrayani Temple and conservation work at Tyangah Ganesh. It also names Maitripur Mahavihara and Sangharam Vihar. These sites help identify the ward’s smaller religious and community spaces beyond the Chhetrapati street name.
For Balaju and Mhepi Temple, compare Ward 16. For Thamel, use Ward 26. Open Ward 18 for Naradevi and Shwetkali. Proposed or continuing conservation work does not guarantee access to every building.
