Golfutar is the office area for Budhanilakantha Ward 8. The municipal tourism inventory lists Jagannath Temple, Mahankal Temple and Bahun Danda Park here.
Golfutar and the Mahankal name
Mahankal appears both as a temple name and in the municipality’s former village structure. Using “Golfutar, Ward 8” with a particular landmark helps distinguish a current destination from that wider older area.
The municipal central office is also in Ward 8, although its address uses Hattigauda. The separate Ward 7 guide covers Hattigauda and Dathu Gaun references. For Mandikhatar, Kumari Marg and Radha Krishna Temple, use Ward 9.
