Kopan Monastery, also called Kopan Gumba, is listed in Budhanilakantha Ward 11 in the municipal tourism inventory. The ward-office area is Shankhare Danda, Kapan.
Kopan Monastery and Jagadol
The monastery is a Buddhist centre for study, meditation and retreat. Its official visitor guide distinguishes a short visit from an overnight stay or a course; use it to check the arrangements for the visit you want.
