Chunikhel is the office area for Budhanilakantha Ward 13. Gamcha, Kaudol, Sapatar, Tupek and Tushal are among the smaller places named in the municipal tourism inventory, alongside Jagadol.
Chunikhel’s settlements and shrines
The annual report adds a Tusal Chowk reference and temple projects at Sapatar and Chunikhel: Sapatar Shiva Temple, Chunikhel Krishna Temple and Bhadrakali’s deity house. It also records work at Naulin Bhadrakali. The project entries identify places; they do not establish current opening arrangements or completion of every proposal.
Jagadol also appears in the inventory for Ward 11, which includes Kopan Monastery. Use a specific settlement and ward number to distinguish a destination within the wider Chunikhel area.
