Taulung is the ward-office area for Budhanilakantha Ward 1. The municipality’s tourism inventory associates this ward with Nagi Gumba and the Shivapuri forest area, giving it a different focus from the Vishnu temple precinct.
Taulung and the Shivapuri side
Taulung Chautara and Naidol Tol are smaller places named in the municipal annual report. The report records work at Taulung’s community building and a park project at Naidol; these are useful local address references, not a guide to completed visitor facilities.
For the reclining Vishnu statue, choose Budhanilkantha Temple in Ward 3. Chapali Ghumti in Ward 2 has separate Panchakanya and Rudreshwor temple references. The wider national park extends beyond this ward map.
