Futung is Tarakeshwor Ward 7, corresponding to the former Futung village area. The municipal heritage inventory lists Indrayani Temple and Nag Pokhari among its religious and historic places.
Futung’s smaller places
Pakhura Danda, Thapa Gaun, Shivnagar Tol and Budhathoki Tol appear in the ward programme. Chimbar Pokhari and its Khatri Tol are further local references. The programme also includes a Jalpa Devi temple project at Pakhura Danda’s Thapa Tol; that entry does not by itself confirm completion.
