Loktantrik Chowk is the name used for Tarakeshwor Ward 10 in the municipal programme. The ward brings together former Manmaiju village Wards 2 and 5.
Loktantrik Chowk and local toles
The ward programme identifies Lakhe Dol, Saptarishi Tol, Himali Tol, Raj Tol and Suryodaya Tol. Its heritage inventory also lists a Shiva temple for Ward 10, while the cultural programme includes Saptarishi bhajan and Manmaiju community traditions.
These smaller tole names are useful alongside the junction name when checking an address. Manmaiju Devi Temple is in the separate Ward 9 guide. For Nepaltar and Hile Dol references, continue to Ward 11, another part of the former Manmaiju village area.
