Makhan is the address of Kathmandu’s Ward 24 office. The municipal heritage programme names the Makhan Tarini Kumari guthi house under this ward, providing a specific local cultural reference.
Makhan and the palace-square area
The city also identifies Hanuman Dhoka’s frontage as a Ward 24 meeting point in its ward-based cleanup notice. That address reference is not a claim that the entire palace-square monument zone falls inside one ward. Kantishwori School appears separately in the ward’s public-works schedule.
