*Changu Narayan**

Ward No. 4 of Changunarayan Municipality is primarily known as Changu Narayan, the core area encompassing the former Changu Narayan Village Development Committee (VDC).[4][7] Other neighborhoods or toles within this ward include Kotali (location of the ward office) and the area around Sankha Daha (Sangadaha Pokhari).[1][2]

This ward is renowned for the UNESCO World Heritage Site Changu Narayan Temple, one of Nepal’s oldest Hindu temples dedicated to Vishnu, attracting tourists to its ancient Licchavi-era architecture and hilltop views of the Kathmandu Valley.[3][4] It features a population of about 7,613 across 2,600 households on 6.78 square kilometers, blending rural characteristics with tourism, including nearby ponds like Sangadaha Pokhari.[2][7]
