Jhaukhel is Changunarayan Ward 3, formed from the former village’s Wards 1–7 and 9. Former Jhaukhel Ward 8 is now part of current Ward 2.
Jyotilingeshwor and the Jhaukhel settlements
The official ward profile identifies Jyotilingeshwor Mahadev and Krishna Temple. The ward programme adds Gelal Gaun, Kasula Tol, Mili and the Kharibot–KC Tol road as smaller local references. These names make an address more precise than Jhaukhel alone.
For the former Jhaukhel area incorporated into Duwakot, choose Ward 2. For the Changu Narayan temple precinct and the former Changu village area, use Ward 4. The map above shows the current ward boundary, rather than the historic village’s numbered subdivisions.
