Mahalaxmi Municipality in Lalitpur has ten wards. It brings together the former Imadol, Tikathali, Siddhipur, Lubhu and Lamatar areas. The municipality takes its name from the Mahalaxmi temple in Lubhu.

Imadol spans Wards 1–4: start with Ward 1, Ward 2, Ward 3 or Ward 4, rather than assigning all Imadol addresses to one ward.
The former Tikathali area is divided between Ward 5 and Ward 7, whose office is at Changathali. Siddhipur is Ward 6, and Lubhu is Ward 8.
